Energy Intelligence is a product by WeAutomate, an automation company based in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect data you provide when using our platform.

2. Data We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, phone number
- Business data: branch details, electricity meter readings, bill amounts
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, session timestamps
- Uploaded files: electricity bill PDFs and meter reading photos
3. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the Energy Intelligence service to your organisation
- Generate AI-powered bill audits and consumption insights
- Send alerts and notifications you have opted into
- Improve the platform based on anonymised usage patterns
We do not sell your data to any third party.
4. Data Storage & Security
All data is hosted on servers located in Mumbai, India (Supabase India region). Tenant data is strictly isolated — one tenant cannot access another tenant's data. Connections are encrypted using TLS 1.2+. Backups are taken daily.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after account closure. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.
6. Your Rights
- Request a copy of your data (export)
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and associated data
- Opt out of non-essential notifications

7. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:
- Supabase — database and authentication (data hosted in India)
- Anthropic / Google / OpenAI — AI analysis of electricity bills (anonymised data only)
- Resend — transactional email delivery
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be notified via email to account administrators at least 14 days before taking effect.
